The
Caņon City Chapter of the American Design Drafting Association
presented awards of merit to Judy Lohnes, Steve Rabe and George Medaris
for their leadership in the early development of a Geographic
Information System (GIS) in Fremont County and for the support in the
use of the ArcMap Software in the CAD lab at Caņon City High School. The
high school design students presenting the award were Hannah Coram and
John Paul Sauer. Judy Lohnes is the Upper Arkansas Area Council Of
Governments Executive Driector, Steve Rabe is the City Administrator and
George Medaris is the Fremont County Sanitation District Manager.
GIS software is used more and more each year to query and display
important data and to make hard copy maps for use by our citizens in
Fremont County. |
