Responsibilities of Committee and Members

Committee: The purpose to of the committee will be achieved by assisting the administrators, staff and students with the strategic planning process; assessment of needs, developement of external/internal goals, compliance with state and national mandates, formulation and accomplishment of strategies and dissemination of information to the public.

Members: Members are responsible for coming to the monthly meetings that last about 2 hours.

Officers: All officers will be elected annually at the regularly scheduled may meeting.

The Chairman of the committee has to preside at all meetings, be responsible for report made to the board of education and the community, assist in finalizing agendas and make appointments to standing committees that are formed.

The Vice Chairman has to preside at all meetings that the chairman cannot attend, and any other duties designated by the chairman.

Secretary designee will be a shard responsibility of all members. this shared position is responsible for the taking of minutes and submitting those minutes to the chairman.
