Tiger Paws Publishing

Tiger Paws Publishing is a service learning class that gives students the opportunity to apply themselves to the Cañon City community as well as showing them what it is like to be in a business setting. This is a hands-on class that requires lots of self motivation and intuition to get the projects complete. Whether you work as an individual or as a team you can get the job done! Tiger Paws is unique here at Cañon City High School due to it's service learning applications that benefit our community and school. Because this class is service learning the students and the class do not receive funds for doing much of the work (click for work examples). Free projects include sports programs and daily announcements.  If it is for a school function then it is for service learning.

Many things in Tiger Paws requires a fee for the services that goes towards supplies to keep the class/business up and running. None of the funds go to the students or the teacher. Projects that people have to pay for include posters, calendars, letterheads, business cards and countless other tasks that people require involving publishing. (click for examples)
