Home Purpose Volunteers Sentencing Information Application  To ServeCCHS

 

BULLETIN

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TEEN COURT

 

 

Students must be willing to serve Teen Court as: Jury Member, Attorney, Bailiff, Clerk, and Victim’s Advocate

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be between 14 – 18 years of age

  • Must be Dependable and Responsible

  • Must be able to be objective

  • Must have the ability to work with others

  • Must be able to volunteer 2-4 hours, 1-2 times per month (2nd  & 4th Tuesdays)

  • Must be available from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. on court nights

  • Must follow through with commitment

  • Must be able to attend a training session

 

Benefits:

  • Provides experience in judicial system and volunteer work

  • Teen Court is citizenship in action

  • Hours volunteered in teen court qualify for service learning credit in your high school.

         

How to apply:

  • Pick up application form in the counselors’ office.

  • Mail or return the application to the Fremont County Teen Court at the address on the application.
