D.A.R.E.
Dare
is a non-profit organization that betters the community through educating
young students in class. The classes take about 1 hour once a week and
continue for about 9 weeks. The end result, is a student and child who is
well informed about the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol. Once the
program is completed, the students participate in a culmination program
conducted at the Del Pizzo Performing Arts Center at the Canon City High
School. Once culmination is complete, the students have the opportunity to
participate in various summer activities and programs.
